Growing Down is a series of six paintings. The first five in the slide show presentation measure 30x22 inches, acrylic paint and mixed media on Strathmore Aquarius II paper. The sixth painting measures 48x36 inches, acrylic paint and mixed media on canvas.
The expression "Growing Down" to me means depth, growing deeper, finding meaning, enriching ones life. I chose a neutral earthy palette as an expression of the psychological realm - going deep within ones soul.
